What we process

Audio you record or upload is sent to our servers only to create your transcript and study pack. Audio is deleted right after processing (if processing fails, leftover audio is removed within 3 days). Study packs are kept 3 days on the Free plan, 30 days on Basic and Standard, and 90 days on Pro, then deleted automatically. We do not sell your data or use your content to train AI models.

Service providers

To produce transcripts, translations and study packs, we send your audio or text to our speech-recognition and AI model providers, and we store data with our hosting providers. They process it only on our behalf, to provide the service.

Recordings kept on your device

So you can replay a lecture, the browser extension and the web recorder may keep your most recent recordings in your browser's private storage on your own device. They never leave your device, and you can delete them at any time.

Account data

When you sign in (with Google or an email link), we store your email, name, plan and usage minutes for as long as your account exists. Guests are limited by a device identifier used only to enforce the free quota (legitimate interest in preventing abuse).

Shared links

If you create a share link, anyone with the link can view that report until you turn the link off or it expires.

Cookies and local storage

We use a sign-in cookie and your browser's local storage for your settings (such as language) and for notifications. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Google sign-in, Cloudflare Turnstile and the Paddle checkout set their own cookies when you use them.

Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. We never see your card details; Paddle shares your email, country and order details with us so we can activate your plan.

Your choices and contact

You can ask us to export or delete your account and data at any time by emailing admin@omnistudy.net. Notes you export (Notion, Obsidian, Anki) are yours and live outside our systems.
